SHEDS 'N' HOMES SHELTER A fantastic opening for our new Sheds 'n' Homes shelter! Club President Stephen Mann welcomed everyone and particularly thanked Warren and Jo Van Est and their company Sheds 'n' Homes for their fantastic contribution to our Club; Steve Beggs; Graeme White; Kelvin Brown and everyone associated with the construction of the building. A plaque in recognition for Sheds 'n' Homes was unveiled by Warren and Jo. 60+ members and guests attended and had a night of bowls and dinner. Good work from all those who assisted the new players on the green. Thank you to everyone who made it such a success

AUSTRALIA DAY Australia Day was a fantastic day of celebration with many players dressing for the theme. A lunch of pies and pavlovas followed by lamingtons for afternoon tea finished off a great day. FAB 5 - BACK TO SCHOOL The 'Fab 5' ladies held a sensational 'Back to School' day yesterday. We had 112 players participating, most getting into the theme of the day. 'God Save the Queen', raising the flag and the 'pledge', pinned on hankies, lunch in a paper bag, little bottles of milk, hand-made 'school bags', red icy poles and many other novelties added to the day. Jo Mee had everyone warming up with a great exercise routine (involving wine cask and glasses), ready for bowls and music from the 60's. Overall, a fantastic day for our Club! We sincerely thank the 'Fab 5', Joy Ryan, Lyn Johnston, Sandra Snow, Sue Middleton and Heather Lindsay for sponsoring this event.

BOWLS VOLUNTEER LABOUR A team of our bowlers (some over 80 years of age), completed a concrete strip along the east side of the top bowling green. This strip has improved the area and will make mowing and maintenance a lot easier.
